Dasik are Korean tea cookies made from powder and honey, which you press into small patterned molds. Chestnut, matcha and sesame dough give you three colors: light and mildly sweet, green and slightly bitter, black and nutty. In Korea, dasik is served with tea and on festive days.

  • 50 g matcha powder
  • 50 g black sesame powder
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the chestnut powder with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of oil until you have a moldable dough.
  2. Repeat the process separately with the matcha and sesame powders.

  4. Carefully release the dasik from the molds.
  5. Serve the dasik with Korean tea.
