  • 520 ml water
  • 1 small zucchini, cut into thin strips
  • 1 carrot, cut into thin strips
  • 200 g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 sheet nori (seaweed), shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice, bring it to a boil with the water, and cook it covered on low heat for 15 minutes. Then let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle the zucchini and carrot with a little salt and let them stand for 10 minutes. Then squeeze out the water.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the ground beef with the soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar until it is cooked through.
  4. Fry the eggs in a separate pan into a thin omelet, let it cool, and cut it into strips.
  5. Briefly stir-fry the zucchini and carrot in the same pan.
  6. Arrange the cooked rice on plates. Spread the fried beef, zucchini, carrot, egg strips, and nori decoratively on top.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
