Sirap Bandung – Rose Milk over Ice
Sirap Bandung is a cold drink from Malaysia and Singapore. You stir red rose syrup into sweetened and unsweetened condensed milk until the milk turns pink, then pour it over ice. The drink tastes sweet and floral, and in Malaysia it belongs to the breaking of the fast in Ramadan. You drink it with spicy food like nasi lemak or mee goreng, because the milk calms the chili heat.
